Yeah, this little "beginner" keyboard is over six years old, with NO disk drive, and yet it shows how much further ahead Yamaha was at the time, especially when compared to KBs in the same price range then (such as Casio, etc.). Pretty nice styles, too.

Thanks for listening.

Andrea, thanks for listening and for the kind words! Yeah, I forgot all about the fiddle licks in there, usually I only use the accompaniment presets but as I recall, the structure of the song required it so that I could finish up with the third and final revised chorus to conclude the song properly.

Hey Charlie, Another great tune and your vocal/instrumental rendition is TERRIFIC ! WHERE are you performing at? You must surely be a BIG hit in Waikiki. I will have to make a 'special point' to checkout your show when I'm in Hawaii next month - as soon as Andrea sends me those air tickets.

Ha! Ha! Ha! As soon as Andrea sends you the tickets, I love it!

I don't perform anywhere actually, I just play at home and do recordings. Enough for me. Basically this whole other hobby I'm discovering (arranger kb) is an outgrowth of the songwriting thing. So if I get this new PSR-2000 I will now have to get a TRIPLE-tier keyboard stand!!!

Hi Scott,
if I can get over the jet-lag thing and all those hours of flight, I might come with you next month...
Aloha ho!

Heh heh! You and the rest of the board! But in all seriousness, if anyone does plan to pass through the islands, do give me a shout and we'll definitely get together. Not so much for the lounge acts because there are absolutely NO arr/kb musicians here that I know of, but we do have karaoke bars, the beaches, the combination hula and luau shows, the offshore dinner cruises, shopping galore (especially the outlets, which we have a ton of now), the scenery (we'll do a circle island drive, takes a better part of the daytime), etc., etc.

Not to mention visiting/playing my growing collection of keyboards ever since I found this damn place (just ordered a 2000 from George this afternoon -- anybody make a five-tier rack?)!

So yeah, let me know...
